This Sunday May 11

Sunday we continue our worship and preaching in the book of Matthew chapter 5 and the immensely rich Sermon on the Mount.  Here Jesus expands his summary message about the kingdom of God and starts to demonstrate what the kingdom would look like on earth, as it is in heaven.  It's a sort of upside-down kingdom that look much different than the status quo.  Where weakness is strength and godliness is not formulaic or "cross-offable."  Relationships are not competitive nor transactional.  You don't give others simply what they give you.  You learn to love those who treat you poorly.  Though possibly familiar to you now, this sense of backwards values was revolutionary at the time and still can be today 2000 years later.

Sunday Mornings
Three different Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) meet at 9:00 AM as well as Youth classes for Jr. and Sr. High. And our TinkerTown Kids meet at 9:00 AM as well as children's church during Worship at 10:30 AM.  Adult Bible Fellowships provide a place for community and fellowship that is virtually impossible in the large group worship service.  ABFs are where we care for each other and get to know each other on an informal basis.

Worship is at 10:30 AM. All Sunday activities are at Streetsboro Middle School. [map]

Church History Starts 4/2

This Wednesday we start a new series on the history of the church from the first century up to the present.  You'll be placed in a group from a select part of the church's storied past and interact with believers from other centuries and backgrounds.  Starts at 6:45 at Streetsboro Middle School for 8 weeks.
