Church Camping @ West Branch On July 10-12 our church will be enjoying our annual camping trip at West Branch State Park in Ravenna. Even if your household is not out there camping, we are inviting everyone from our church body to join us for an outdoor worship service at the normal 10:30 time. This is approximately 25 minutes southeast of Streetsboro. This is the only service we’ll sponsor that Sunday so plan ahead to make the trek. If you don’t camp! Join us for a pot luck dinner at the Campground on Saturday Evening at 6pm.

This Sunday July 5 - Mercy Revisited (1 Samuel 26) It wasn't too long ago that Saul was in tear, humbled by David's extension of mercy. But a short while later he's back on the hunt, convinced that David is still out to get him. David makes a bolder move this time, still trying to show Saul his own paranoia. But that's the thing about paranoia. Once you're convinced someone is out to get you, everything they do is seen in that light. You can't see clearly anymore. Neither can Saul... Sunday Mornings Two different Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) meet at 9:00 AM as well as Youth classes for Jr. and Sr. High. And our TinkerTown Kids meet at 9:00 AM as well as children's church during Worship at 10:30 AM. Adult Bible Fellowships provide a place for community and fellowship that is virtually impossible in the large group worship service. ABFs are where we care for each other and get to know each other on an informal basis. Worship is at 10:30 AM. All Sunday activities are at Streetsboro Middle School. [map]

Park at Campus Elementary The middle school parking lot is being repaved this summer! While we’re excited about this, it does mean we’ll have to shuffle a bit this summer, so we’ll keep you updated as much as we can. Starting today, as, I am sure you already noticed. We need to park at Campus Elementary at the end of Kirby Lane. (The road with the stop light off of 303). The doors closest to Kirby are now opened, temporarily, while the work is in progress.

Future Land/Building News Those of you who have been faithfully praying about having a church home of our own, some things are happening recently regarding our interest in the Knights of Columbus building in Streetsboro. We continue to dialogue with them about acquiring the building in a creative way that works for both of us. There have been some recent breakthroughs and we’ll let you know more as soon as we have specifics. Constitutionally, church members have to approve all land or building purchases so we’ll keep everybody in the loop. Keep praying about this important step in our church‘s development.
