This Sunday July 27

We have a full slate this Sunday: Baby Dedications and Communion besides worship and the word. Come Sunday as we continue our series in Matthew's gospel in chapter 16. This is the chapter where Jesus predicts the church that will spring up after he's gone, and characteristics of that church. He also predicts his own death and resurrection and challenges true followers to be ready to follow him to the cross. What does it mean to take up your cross? What does he mean by "deny himself?" Did Jesus really mean we should expect to be killed for our faith?

Sunday Mornings
Three different Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) meet at 9:00 AM as well as Youth classes for Jr. and Sr. High. And our TinkerTown Kids meet at 9:00 AM as well as children's church during Worship at 10:30 AM. Adult Bible Fellowships provide a place for community and fellowship that is virtually impossible in the large group worship service. ABFs are where we care for each other and get to know each other on an informal basis.

Worship is at 10:30 AM. All Sunday activities are at Streetsboro Middle School. [map]
