July 9 Update

Church Outside This Sunday

In Matthew 14 Jesus is teaching and so many people gather around that he has to go out in a boat to keep some distance.  I won't be teaching from a boat, but we will be outside at 10:30 am on Sunday at West Branch State Park in Ravenna with our service at their outdoor amphitheater.  There is parking right near the serviced area. Although the forcast looks pretty good, we'll have a rain backup location at Camp Carl (just on the other side of the reservoir from the State Park).  Although there are benches, bring a lawn chair if you require back support.  Andy will be leading music and I'll preach outdoors for the first time I can remember.  It'll be "normal" service in terms of preaching and worship and even a cooler to deposit your offering.  So be a little adventurous and make the 25 minute drive out.  We hope to attract some visitors from the campground who pull up a lawn chair to join us.   If you have questions, the church phone number will be forwarded to Nancy's cell phone at the campground.  Call 330-626-2265.

Also, due to an unexpected funeral affecting one of our families, we have a pre-paid site reserved and ready to go.  If you'd like to join the dozen or so other families camping all weekend but didn't make a reservation, you can claim this site for free by calling Gary Pease at 330-842-4255.  First come, first served.

Click for maps to West Branch State Park or Camp Carl.  See you there!

In His Grace,

Dave
