Missions Action Group
Our Missions Action Group is involved in developing a strategy for local and international missions. Our goal is to change the nuance of the word "missions" from neutral/negative to positive. The best way to do that is to start the process of getting our members to personally visit key missions hot spots. Sure, world missions needs us, but we also need world missions to help us get a picture of a world that's bigger than our own comfortable one. You're welcome to join the discussion every third Monday at 7:30 PM.
Recent Activity: We're currently considering very promising partnership points both domestically and around the world. We'd like to have lots of options for you to consider for a short-term missions trip. Remember, we don't believe that missions trip are for the exceptional people. We actually want to get normal people like you to see what God is doing around the world! Until you've been there, you just can't quite grasp it. Where might you end up? London? Houston? Washington? Paris? Bostulica? Stay tuned... we hope to launch our first research trip fall of this year.
Our goal is to make missions commonplace among us, and not the extraordinary thing for the extraordinary Christian. That means that where we send our money, we also send our people to learn/help/experience and pass along what they see!
